Clip earrings are simulated carved ivory from the 1960s in the shape that was called "shrimp" because of the resemblance of the earrings to shrimp. These simulated ivory clip earrings measure approximately 1/4 x 5/8" and the clips retain their original tension. This is a classic carved ivory look that is as all purpose as any hoop earring and even more attractive, IMHO.
