Shamrock / Clover Pin Brooch in sterling silver vermeil (yellow gold plated) and clear, hand cut rhinestones. We love the domed, heart shaped petals with internal shamrocks accented with clear rhinestone centers. There is a beautiful, bezel set, hand-cut crystal rhinestone center.
The pin measures approximately 2 x 1-5/8" and has a safety closure. It is signed, "STERLING" and dates to the 1940s.
In Very Good / Excellent Condition with some darkening to some of the rhinestones (all original) and some missing plating to show the sterling underneath.
A hefty and well-made piece of vintage costume jewelry, it is the quality of higher end designers. It weighs a generous 20.8 grams of sterling silver.
