Navajo Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Ring Vintage
Navajo green turquoise ring features a large triangular stone with an arched bow along two of its sides and a beautiful feather along the third. This ring dates no later than the mid 1970s and is perhaps even older than that. The bow and feather are very nicely articulated and artistically rendered.
The ring is a Size 7 and the face of the ring is approximately 1 x 7/8". It weighs 8.1 grams. The green turquoise stone has a matrix that is a gold color, indicating the presence of copper and that it may be Arizona green. It measures approximately 3/4 x 1/2".
The ring is in Excellent Condition. On the face of the stone (about 5 o' clock), there is a sight depression that looks larger in the picture than it does in person. This may be part of the natural matrix of the stone, or it may be a shallow, weathered chip. We took care to photograph the side where the area of the stone rises above the bezel. This area of the stone appears to be quite stable, so this may just be a natural part of the stone, but we wanted to bring it to your attention.
Although this is a substantial ring, it doesn't feel bulky when worn. The design has a graceful line that will elongate your fingers and hand in a very attractive way.
Your beautiful Vintage Navajo Green Turquoise Ring will arrive in our signature gift box with silver stretch tie, ready to love or give.
