Vintage Art Christmas tree pin in an open, modern design is pictured on Page 10 of Nancy Trowbridge's, O'Christmas Tree. It features free-form open "windows" with blue, red, green and topaz colored rhinestones within and raised gold tone balls. The treetop star is accented with a clear rhinestone. This well-known and loved Art Christmas tree pin measures approximately 2-1/8 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure. It is signed "ART" on the reverse of the trunk of the tree with a copyright symbol incised in the mold of the pin. The tree is in Excellent Condition, but there is a small spot which is hardly visible in the top left quadrant around the central bottom raised ball ornament that has a tiny shadow in which the plating is thin. This visible upon close examination under magnification and is hardly noticeable, if at all, when worn. We mention this for the sake of complete disclosure and this has been taken into consideration in the price.
