Rare Vintage Eugene Clip Earrings are hand made and hand wired and mounted on filigree medallions in the tradition of Miriam Haskell, yet they are even more rare than Haskell jewelry. Eugene jewelry was made from 1952 to 1962, so there is very little of this beautiful jewelry that has survived. These masterfully executed earrings feature light topaz colored faceted crystals and unusual yellow seed beads with emerald green centers. The central focus of the earrings is a gorgeous simulated emerald.
The earrings measure approximately 1-1/4" round and are signed "EUGENE" on each ear clip. The clips retain their original tension and are sturdy and secure.
In Very Good/Excellent Condition, these earrings are not only a beautiful example of vintage costume jewelry at its apex, they are a rare collector's item for the knowledgeable collector.
