Iconic vintage Trifari Rhinestone Pin Brooch was patented in 1949 as Design Patent #155218. It depicts the symbol of the Prince of Wales that was adopted in the 1600s. In shimmering clear crystal baguette rhinestones, three ostrich feathers are gathered in a royal coronet. This design acted as a seal for companies and manufacturers of those items regularly purchased for the use of the Prince. "By Appointment to His Majesty" is, even today, a venerable and highly valued recommendation.

It measures approximately 2 x 1-3/4" and has a safety closure. It is signed, "Trifari Pat Pend" with what appears to be a crown over the T but is incomplete for lack of room on the rectangular signature cartouche on the reverse of the pin.

This pin brooch is in the most beautiful, Excellent Condition.

Impeccably crafted in heavy rhodium plated metal with sparkling baguette rhinestones lining one side of each plume and round crystal faceted rhinestones punctuating the bases, this pin has a timeless beauty.
