This is a vintage Weiss set that I have personally had tucked away as perhaps one of the best designed and highest quality sets of Weiss I had ever seen. Fashioned after the famed Schiaparelli cabochon sets, this melange of huge sapphire and emerald colored cabochons in round, oval and navette shapes is offset by smokey aurora borealis roundstones in varying sizes as well as beautifully cut, high-tabled, pale blue roundstones all prong-set in silvertone metal. The pin measures approximately 2-1/4" and has a safety closure. The oval Weiss signature cartouche is on the reverse of the pin. The matching ear clips measure a generous 1-1/2 x 1" and the clips are marked with the Weiss signature in block letters on each clip. The clips are sturdy and secure with lots of snap. The set is in Excellent to Near Mint Condition. A rare and high level collector's quality set of vintage Weiss.
