A little larger Nancy Ann Storybook doll is this Summer # 91, with a wide skirt and a little larger box.

This is an early bisque doll, has a wrist tag and box.

The Nancy Ann Storybook Company was founded by Nancy Ann Abbot in 1936. Bisque dolls were the first to be made. Later, in the '40s, they were made of hard plastic. They came in sizes 3 1/2" to 7". The most popular was the "Storybook" series. They also made "Nursery Rhymes", "Family Series", "American Girl", "Bridal Series", "Seasons Series, "Dolls of the Month", and many more.
