Vintage Lisner Christmas tree pin is a book piece shown on Page 55 of Mary Morrison's, "Christmas Jewelry." The metal of this unique vintage Christmas tree pin features boughs that appear to be frosty in a granulated metalwork fashion. There are red, green and clear rhinestones on the open worked boughs that are very three-dimensional in a very realistic fashion. The rhinestone ornaments peak out from some of the back boughs and out front from the forward boughs for a wonderfully dimensional design.
The tree measures approximately 2 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure. It is signed, "Lisner" with a copyright symbol raised from the mold along the trunk of the tree on the reverse.
In Excellent Condition, Lisner vintage Christmas tree pins are not easily found and there are not many designs.
For the serious Christmas tree pin collector, this one is an important signed beauty by Lisner from the 1950s-60s. You will be pleased to own, wear and collect this one. It is certainly gift-worthy as well as beautiful.
