Vintage Trifari Alfred Philippe Sterling Heraldic Crown & Crest Pin Brooch is an important and iconic piece of Trifari vintage costume jewelry that embodies the regal excitement about and fascination with Britain's new queen.
The crest balances a regal crown at its top. The central focus of the crest is a luscious, ruby red faceted open-backed, oval stone surrounded by clear rhinestones. Regalia at the sides and bottom of the crest of curved horns dripping simulated moonstone cabochons and curved ribbon banners are accented with tiny clear rhinestone accents nestling small red and blue rhinestones within its curves.
It measures approximately 2-1/8 x 1-3/8" WIDE.
It is signed, "CROWN TRIFARI ~ STERLING ~ DES PAT NO. 140801."
