Vintage Art Deco Celluloid Drop Hoop Pierced Earrings
Art Deco celluloid drop hoop earrings for pierced ears are a very rare example of how early plastics were used in the 1920s.
These elegant and lightweight beauties measure approximately 2-1/4 x 1-1/8" and have incorporated celluloid "wires", which will be great for those with metal allergies.
The earrings are in Excellent Condition and the color has aged to a mellow cream color with the top section aged just a bit more with a very light apricot tone. We have not cleaned the earrings.
These celluloid Art Deco earrings are very difficult to find and these remain amazingly wearable, lightweight and classic. Celluloid and early plastic collectors will be proud to add these to their collections while wearing a wonderful example of early celluloid jewelry.
Your beautiful Vintage Art Deco Celluloid Earrings will arrive in our signature gift box with silver stretch tie, ready to love or give.
