Modernist Brutalist Lapis Lazuli Sterling Silver Ring looks like the two oval lapis cabochons are moon rocks.
The ring is a Size 7 and weighs 9.2 grams of sterling silver. The face of the ring is approximately 5/8 x 5/8".
It is in Excellent Condition. The genuine lapis cabochons are top quality with the deepest blue and virtually no pyrite flecks.
The ring dates to the 1970s and is signed inside the shank, "JAYEM STERLING SILVER MADE IN REP. S.A."
We don't know how many of these were made, but they are hand crafted and it would be difficult to say when we would ever one find another of this unique and unusual design again. This is a perfect ring for someone with artistic style who enjoys jewelry that makes an impression.
