Original by Robert Signed Christmas Wreath Pin Brooch is so very rare and in this condition, a simply amazing find! The design features what might be interlocking horns to form the base of the wreath. Across the top of the wreath are wonderfully sculptural and detailed enamel holly leaves. Nestled within the leaves are varied sizes of red holly berries. A red moveable bell with gold tone clapper inside dangles merrily within this magnificent wreath. Amazingly, all of the leaves and berries are hand soldered, individually, to the pin brooch.

For all the enamel work in costume I have seen, this wonderful Original by Robert is exceedingly well done. Happily, this very rare Christmas piece is in Excellent Condition. Even the edges of the bell are pristine gold tone (although in our pics there are white reflections). So much of vintage Christmas jewelry was lovingly mistreated, this pin must have been kept in a box and probably never worn.

It measures approximately 2 x 1-3/4" and is raised approximately 3/8" from the base. It is signed in script, "Original by Robert" with a copyright symbol on a palette shaped plaque on the reverse of the pin.

This is a great Christmas pin brooch for someone who loves Christmas, but isn't much into glitz, although the vibrant Christmas colors with the gold tone accents makes it so festive and quite beautiful as well as tasteful.

Dating to the 1960s, this Original by Robert Christmas Wreath Pin Brooch is truly collection-worthy and will become a valued family Christmas heirloom.
