Chunky Victorian Revival slide bracelet features simulated carnelian, turquoise and jade scarabs with a lion slide as well as two snake slides. This is a very three-dimensional slide bracelet with antiqued gold tone swirled beads separating the slides. There are eight slides an8"d one of them acts as a box clasp.

The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/8 (closed) x 3/4" and 3/8" in depth.

The bracelet is strung on two chains with a hidden box clasp underneath the simulated carnelian scarab. It works perfectly and clicks.

Two different vintage companies made bracelets similar to this, although the bracelets are constructed differently. One is PK and the other, Tortolani, uses the same type of bead with theirs. It seems as if this may have been done by a jeweler, perhaps with pieces from another bracelet. The manner in which this bracelet is constructed gives it the appearance of precious jewelry. The feel of the inside is very smooth, much like well-polished gold.

There is evidence of age and light wear, nothing objectionable, but the patina of age that gives vintage jewelry its soul. To be very careful, we will rate this Very Good/Excellent Condition.
