                                                  WRIST LENGTH TO FULL ARM LENGTH. SPECIAL HOOKS WERE  EVEN MADE TO
                                                  BUTTON GLOVES AND SPECIAL BUTTONS TO BE BUTTONED!  IT IS THOUGHT THAT THE
                      WORD GLOVE COMES FROM THE ANTLO SAXON WORD "GLOF" MEANING "PALM".
                      "BUTTON" IS USED TO INDICATE THE LENGTH OF A GLOVE.  ONE BUTTON IS EQUAL TO
                      ONE FRENCH INCH (1/2" LONGER THAN AN AMERICAN INCH). MEASUREMENT ALWAYS
