This letter opener is heavyweight, weighing 2.8 oz on my postal scale. A magnet will stick to the opener part but not the handle. It is 7 1/4" long, the handle is 3" long x 3/4" wide x 3/8" thick. Vintage Decorated Metal Rolling Ink Blotter, Desk Top Style

This ink blotter is heavy, weighing 4 ounces on my postage scale. I do not know the type of metal, a magnet will not stick to it. It is a silver color, is not marked Sterling, may be silverplate. It has a decorative knob. The sides also have an ornate pattern.
