Up for today’s auction we have a very heavy Sterling Silver Griffin pin.
This very unique Griffin pin measures 2 – 3/16” in length and is 1 – 1/16” in height.
There is a fair amount of detail on this pin as one can easily see the Griffin’s claws and his long, whip-like tail curlicuing up and over his back. His mouth is agape as he prepare to alight down on his prey.
This piece of exquisite craftsmanship is in excellent condition with the Sterling marking upon the back claw.
A tiny treasure that will garner many a compliment from fans of mythical creatures!
