This is a very nice reproduction " Nicole Bru Jne 6" Bisque Doll with a faux leather jointed body. Bisque head, arms and legs. Seal Blue green satin dress and jacket with lace trim. Matching hat and lealther shoes. Lace and net underslip and pantaloons. This doll is in excellent condition and comes with her wood stand. During the period 1866-1925, the famous doll maker Casimir Bru Jeune developed dolls of great beauty and quality. The original Bebes produced by Bru Jne et Cie are the most beautiful, most sought-atter, highest priced dolls available to collections. This doll, in the tradition of Bru Jne et Cie is reproduced by the Hamilton Collection and is named Nicole.
