This is a beautiful English hallmarked Victorian hair locket brooch. The brooch is silver (probably sterling) and the front is ornately designed with foliage with beaded accents around the rim. Size is 1 x 1-1/2" oval. Note extended pin stem. Some solder reinforcement looks to have been done at some time. The back contains a lock of hair under a thin celluloid? covering.
