Hanb Painted Porcelain McCormick Thomas Jefferson Decanter -- the author of the Revolution. Thomas Jefferson, descendant of an old Virginia family, had been on that colony's frontiers in 1743. He had bee reared with a classical eduction and had an easy familiarity with the languages and writings of the Greeks and Romans. Admitted to the bar in 1767, Jefferson had built a successful legal practice that enabled him, in turn, to begin the construction of his still famous hom, Monticello, in 1770. In the same year Thomas was elected to Virginia's House of Burgesses, beginiing a polical career that was eventually to carry him to the Presidency. The rest about Thomas Jefferson you can read on the McCormick box. Decanter is in excellent condition with the foam line and box.
