This is a large vintage costume jewelry locket dating from the 1950s to the 1960s. It has beautifu, rich chasing and florentining on both the front and back so that if it turns there is always a decorative pattern showing. The locket measures approximately 2" x 1-3/8" and has places for two good-sized oval photos within. There are clear plastic ovals that tuck underneath the edges of the inside to protect the pictures. The large bale is generously sized to accommodate your choice of chains. This is a lovely locket in Excellent Condition that appears never to have been used.
