Locket: Victorian Locket Sapphires; Wightman & Hough Locket

Victorian repousse locket with two genuine sapphires depicts a lovely young woman wearing an off-the-shoulder dress with flowing hair and flowers.  The locket measures approximately 1-1/8" and has the original frames and plastic within.  It is marked, "W & H CO" in a heart for the Wightman & Hough Company of Providence, Rhode Island.  The company was in business between 1856 and 1922.  This lovely locket has its original frames and plastic covers.  It has a flourishing script initial engraving on the back.  We have had this lovely locket replated in 14K gold for another lifetime of enjoyment.   You will be pleased to have this lovely, nostalgic Victorian locket that was also loved and worn by someone so long ago.
