Cyrus Noble -- Bighorn Sheep and Lamb Decanter

The sixth and last of the Cyrus Noble Wildlife Porcelain Decanters -- this is "Bighorn Sheep and Lamp" (Ovis Canadensis).

Only the luckiest of hikers ever catches sight of a majestic desert Bighorn Sheep alone on a mountain ledge -- and the sight of a herd of Bighorn Sheep is rarer still. These animals have scattered to remote and inaccessible areas ofo American today.  Southern Nevada, with its desolate but beautiful mountain ranges, is the primary range area remaining.

Bighorn Sheep are wary creatures, and they normally stay far away from peple.  Nature has provided them with excellent camouflage -- a light grey-born coat that blends with the rocky brush-dotted terrain. So it is only when these graceful sheep move quickly, leaping easily from rock to rock or scampering up a mountainside, that we can spot them.

This decanter is the second in a series of six bottles.  Cyrus Noble Originals have been produced from original sculptures by a skilled artist-naturalists. 

The bottle rests on a hand-routed teak bases, felt-padded to protect furniture; an embossed brass plate is mounted on the base.  The bottle is empty, but once contained Cyrus Noble Bourbon.  We have the box and Stryroform liner.

The decanter is in like new condition.
