Early "Awakening" Bessie Pease Gutmann print with a most unusual and unique frame.
The frame is wood with bluish-green and gold trim. It is in a clover shapped frame with curved glass covering the print.
This could well be one of the early reproduction prints of this art which was first done in 1916 and into the 1920's.
The print has a softer manila background unlike newer prints that have a more whitish background. This could be from the paper changing color or was intended.
