ANTIQUE CHINA DOLL HALF (SHIRLEY): HALF BODY ONLY

Today we have for you a charming antique China Half Doll whom we are calling Shirley. Please note that this auction is for the Doll Half only.

Shirley's classically created porcelain half stands 3 -5/8” in height and is approximately 2.75” in width. Shirley has blue colored hair tied back with a red ribbon, an ivory-like complexion and rosy red cheeks. Her black eyes stare out at you as she appears to be adjusting her bustier with one hand and adjusting her coiffed hair with the other. Her bustier is secured with three purple ribbons. She is wearing a very light red lipstick.

Shirley’s half body is in excellent condition considering her age. Her hair is lighter in some spots indicating that a dye / paint job is in order.

We do not see any chips, cracks or nicks are in evidence.
