Here are (6) beautiful vntage rose floral plates.
They measure 6" diameter and were probably used as little bread plates. I sometimes try to imagine what the early tables must have looked like...set with entire place settings of pieces such as these!
Each little plate is a flowed cobalt blue with a white area filled with beautiful pink and yellow roses.
The scalloped edge of the plate and continuing over the blue is an airbrushed gold.
The back of the plate is green marked with a crown over a circle with the words "ROYAL BAVARIAN CHINA" In the middle of the circle "PM over B.". Underneath the circle is the mark "GERMANY". In addition, they are marked with a gold "b" and the number "43" in blue under the glaze.
These beautiful little floral plates would be for decoration only. Two of the plates are perfect with no lines, and four of these little plates have very fine hairlines under the glaze. They are so faint that I could not even photograph them, and in keeping with pieces of this age there is a little age wear on the front in the pattern and glaze. None of this effects the overall beauty of these plates.
They will be beautiful accents for your Romantic Floral Cottage, Shabby Chic, or Garden Room.
