Beatrix Christmas bells necklace is one I have had for about 35 years. It came from an estate in which the owner had passed away in the 1970s. The Beatrix signature dates from 1946 to 1975, according to Nancy Trowbridge, in her book, "O' Christmas Tree." This necklace features three antiqued and three-dimensional, puffy silver tone Christmas bells with rhinestone appointed clappers. The green rhinestone clapper on the bell with a raised poinsettia measures approximately 8MM to give you an idea of the size. The bells are decorated with red, orange-red, gold, mid-tone blue, and emerald green rhinestones. The bells descend from open antiqued silver tone holly leaves with red rhinestone berries for a drop of a whopping 5-1/2 x 3-1/4." The chain is a quality, thick, antiqued silver tone rope chain that extends from each side of the holly leaves for a length (including the holly leaves) of approximately 15-3/4" with a sturdy spring ring closure. This necklace is in Excellent Condition. We have never seen another, nor have we seen it in any book, so we think this one is rare, rare, rare! A perfect gift for the serious Christmas jewelry collector that is wearable and really quite fabulous, IMHO. Very special! (#55001-BeatrixChristmasBellsNecklaceVintage)
