Christmas tree pin signed, "Original by Robert" is a very beautiful and very rare Christmas tree pin featuring layers of expertly enameled leaf-like overlaid boughs decorated with prong-set red rhinestones in a textured and very three-dimensional gold tone pot. The treetop star has sheer red enamel and a red rhinestone appointment. This remarkable vintage Christmas tree pin by Robert measures approximately 2-3/4 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure.It is signed on the typical palette-shaped signature plaque on the reverse of the pin in script.with a copyright symbol. Very rare, we have never seen any of the Original by Robert Christmas tree pins reproduced and believe this may well be due to the intricately enamel work and craftsmanship. We guarantee this pin to be original, old and authentic. The front of the tree and enamel work are in Excellent Condition. There is a small amount of wear and age to the back, some of which may be due to the copper content of the metal and plating due to the enamel work. One of the most rare of all Original by Robert Christmas tree pins, this one is very difficult to find, surprisingly not photographed in any of the books, and definitely belongs in a serious collector's cache of vintage Christmas tree pins.
