Swarovski rooster pin with the swan signature is an incredible image in genuine Swarovski rhinestones. This magnificent rooster pin is a three-dimensional image with small navette shaped rhinestones in emerald green, and square amethyst color rhinestones. The puffy body is all paved in clear crystal rhinestones as are the tail plumes with their gracefully artistic plumes. The crown and waddle are accented in red rhinestones and this fabulous bird has a tiny blue rhinestone eye. He measures approximately 1-7/8 x 1-5/8" and has a safety closure. In Excellent Condition, he is signed with the Swarovski signature swan on the reverse and dates Ca. 1980. According to Joan Ship of Swarovski, in a conversation I had with her in the 1980s, there are many rare Swarovski brooch designs that were made but not released and we have never seen this one before.
