Mexican sterling silver and black onyx bracelet is an unusual vintage piece with black onyx oval cones in each section. We have never seen another one like this. It measures approximately 7-3/4 (wearable length) x 3/4" and has a box clasp that works beautifully and closes with a crisp click. The bracelet may be from the 1940s as there is no indication of the metal content. It has been tested as sterling silver and although we only polished the reverse side where it was tested, it came up shiny and bright. The reverse of the box clasp has a signature which looks like the initials J and R in a circle of illegible words. One tip of one of the peaks of the cone is nicked, but otherwise the bracelet is in Excellent Condition and we know it will polish up beautifully. We believe it is an early rare style that collectors of these types of Mexican sterling silver bracelets would love to include in their collections.
