Vintage Marvella simulated pearls, double strand graduated necklace, with 10K white gold and diamond clasp are salesman's samples from a 1950s-60s estate of a Marvella salesman. They are mint with the original Evening Star line tags which was a name first used by the company in 1939 and produced through the late 1950s . There is also another tag that was attached to the necklace that said on one side, "Genuine Diamond" and on the other side "14K (which was changed to 10K on the tag) White Gold". The "tongue" of the clasp is stamped, "10K". This vintage Marvella double strand of pearls is graduated with the largest center pearls measuring approximately 7.5MM. The shortest strand of the necklace measures a wearable length, with the clasp closed, of approximately 16-3/4".
