Silver Filigree Wire Dimensional Mexican Sombrero Brooch/Pin

This interesting brooch has a very delicate filigree design with the top of the sombrero dimensional and raised.  It has a twisted rope hat band.  There is a secure safety clasp closure.  It measures 1 1/2" in diameter, and is in very good condition.  I would guess this to be from the 1950's era.  There are no markings as to silver content, many of these were 800 silver.
