Japanese Satsuma vase dating circa 1920-1930s, with Buddhist disciples in relief. Satsuma is a Japanese earthenware, covered with a crackled glaze and decorated in polychrome and gilt. The relief of the Buddhist disciples is very impressive when combined with the polychrome and gilt. Very colorful.
This vase measures 9 inches in height and 6 inches in diameter. The vase weighs 2 pounds and 4 ounces.
