Another of the many lacquer boxes we recently obtained from an estate. This box is the "Young Girl with Kittens & Collie Dog ". Signed but we can't determine artist. Very clear detail on this young child, her curls, the two kittens and the collie dog. Silver border on top and scroll work on the side of the box. The original cost of this box was $120. This box is excellent inside and out. Any marks of white in the photo's are glare from the lighting, not imperfections.
