Here is a "first time seen" Hummel for me -- A Double Crown, with an incised crown and incised Bee with a US Zone stamp. I suspect this was one of the first produced after WW II, using a mold from 1941 and then stamped US Zone -- that would date it 1947.
Very rare and hard to find is this 1947-1949 Double Crown, US Zone "Happiness" # 86 Figurine. Two pigtails down and the square base.
Marching along singing and playing her mandolin.
Sculpted by Reinhold Unger in 1938 and retired in 2004, with the molds broken. Later one pigtail was upturned and had a circular base.
This figurine is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or crazing.
