"42nd Street" Original Broadway Window Card from the Majestic Theatre in 1981. This production was directed and dances by Gower Champion and was David Merrick's Song & Dance Extravaganza.
This production first played at the Winter Garden for seven months and then moved to the Majestic Theatre where it played for six years. Finally to the St. James for the last two years. A total of 3,486 perfornances over a nine year period.
This window card is original and has a paste-over for the Majestic Theatre at the bottom, which I assume was orginally from the Winter Garden. Nicely done art work.
This window card is in excellent condition with just a little black smudge at the upper left corner which would not be visible if framed.
