This is a lovely Victorian dresser box in the palest of yellow/green and ink (just a blush) Flowers are handpainted using white and gold. This box is about 3-1/4" in diameter and 1" deep. There is a small chip on the inside rim and on the outside lid as well as an age crack in the bottom, not all the way through. This also has a repair. A very delicate and feminine powder box. A ladies " Vanity" - A private place to ponder, play, reflect and dream. A place to try out a new hairstyle, perfume or expression. Beautiful dresser and vanity containers or boxes were considered a necessity for a ladies boudoir.
