Ladies Boudoir Scene Porcelain Dresser Box

A beautiful vintage dresser box featuring a ladies boudoir scene on the top with a dark spruce green border and gold handpainted accents. This lid lifts off and it is numbered 21 inside the lid and again on the bottom of the jar. Fleur de lis trim - possiby French made porcelain. Good condition - some crazing inside the lid.

A ladies " Vanity" - A private place to ponder, play, reflect and dream. A place to try out  a new hairstyle, perfume or expression. Beautiful dresser and vanity containers or boxes were considered a necessity for a ladies boudoir.
