Item Description:

A rare Martha Chase "Stockinette" Doll which was made in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Painted textured and bobbed hair, jointed elbows, knees and hipps.  Applied ears.  Some paint loss on face.

Heads made from stockinette covered masks reproduced from bisque dolls, heavily painted features including thick lashes, closed mouth, and painted nostrils.

Original lavendar cotton dress with attached white blouse and 3/4 sleeves.  Socks and shoes have been replaced.

This is a true antique doll for the serious doll collector and I would think could only go up in value.
