Soldano Brass Carriage Clock Circa Est 1875

A gorgeous and relatively rare Soldano Brass Carriage Clock in excellent condition. 

We had this clock cleaned and adjusted, and with this clock comes a one year warranty if you are in the Sacramento or Northern California area.  Our clock man said about seven (7) jewels in this clock.  

I thought it to be French, however, my clock man said he thought German -- maybe we are both right:  French case and German works.  Correct me if I am wrong and email me if you know more about this maker and clock than I do.   

Slight pencil type mark on face of the clock in the upper left corner, which is visible in the photo.  I might take it apart and we if I can erase that mark.

Weighs 3 pound 11 ounces.

We have many more clocks in our shop in Sacramento, but we sell these mantle, wall and grandfather clocks only out of the store -- this carriage clock being an exception.
