Miriam Haskell Style Beaded Floral Necklace

Though unsigned, this hand-assembled, hand-pronged necklace is so yummy!

From the construction and design of the piece, I date it to the 1940's, and quite possibly French or German in origin.  It is quite similar to marked pieces that I have had.

The necklace measures 17" in length.  It's 1-1/2" centerpiece consists of brass fuchsia flowers and leaves with an assortment of varying shaped aqua glass beads forming the rest of the embellishment.  Drawing the eye in, is a large topaz-colored chaton rhinestone.  All is handwired to a brass filigree backing with filigree cover cap.

The rest of the necklace has faceted aqua crystal, hand-strung beads, with two fabulous filigree capped, topaz-colored chaton rhinestone rondells.  Inbetween each of the aqua beads are small metal steel cut, brass colored beads.  All is in absolutely beautiful condition.

This necklace will be a beautiful addition to your collection.

With a rich and dark outfit it will be elegant for the fall and winter, and fun with a cool white dress for the summer!
