One of my favorites is this abstract landscape entitled "Bois" which in French means "wood." Remains one of a moon landscape of trees. Great contrast with white trunks and billowing dark green foliage. Framed Oil on Canvas by Mignon Adams.
Mignon Adams was a Sacramento artist for approximately 20 years. Before that she was member of the Marin Art Society in the Bay Area and before that in the Washington, D.C. area. I understand from the grand daughter that Mignon turned down $2000 for this paintings a few years ago -- from a bank, which my guess would be named, "Lincoln Savings" or something along that line. This painting was prominently displayed in her home prior to her passing.
