Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Heart Brooch

Very pretty vintage Mexican sterling brooch is 1-1/2" in diameter and features traditional paua shell inlay with black onyx hearts outlined in silver. This is a brooch/pendant !  It is signed Sterling Taxco with another unidentified hallmark.

A number of years ago I purchased the inventory of a jewelry shop primarily dealing in Southwestern and Mexican sterling silver. Many of the items were unused old stock still in the original wrappings and boxes. They date from the 1940's through the 1980's. Most of these items are in good to excellent condition maybe only needing a good clean and polish.
