Item Description:

Autism is a complex developmental disability that affects an individual in the areas of social interaction and communication. Autism is a spectrum disorder that affects each individual differently and to varying degrees of severity. As many as 1.5 million Americans - children and adults - are thought to have autism today.

My grandson, Ian, was diagnosed with Autism at around 2 years of age and has received early intervention and therapy  which is allowing him to develop the skills necessary to be mainstreamed into public school.  This intervention is so important and, unfortunately, is not offered in many parts of the country and private therapy is often too costly for most families.

All proceeds from the sale of these bracelets will go to the research of  Autism and to enrich the lives of the many children who will thank you for your care and concern. Please see the link below to the Autism Society for more information on symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and successes.

Most of our items are vintage unless we tell you otherwise. Therefore expect them to be in "Vintage" condition. We do not thoroughly clean our items, leaving that to the preferences of the buyer, but if there are any serious problems, flaws or noticeable repairs, we will always note it in the description.  Realizing that nothing can replace a "hands-on" inspection of an item, if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will always accept returns or otherwise try to make you a satisfied customer. Our return policy can be found at the top of the item page.
