Marine Painter. Born in Rustchuk, Bulgaria on October 13, 1880. At age 13 DeRibcowsky began art studies in Paris and continued in Florence and Petrograd. After founding the Academy of Beaux-Arts in Buenos Aires in 1904, he immigrated to the United States in 1910. He lived in New York until his move to Inglewood, California in the early 1920?s. DeRibcowsky died in Los Angeles on August 16, 1936.
