My name is Anna Mae Steel. I have been in the antiques & collectibles business since 1967. I no longer have an open shop, but did have from 1967-1977, and again from 1984-2001. In the past I have done many antique shows, maintained inventory in four antique malls, sold items through eBay as "msannie37" beginning in 2001, with 100% positive feedback.

I spent my working years, from the age of 15, for attorneys, NASA Lewis Research Center, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

For several years in the 1980's my husband and I made "FraMae Art Pottery (R)" which we sold nationwide. Each piece was hand made and decorated. We were the featured front page article of the Antique Trader, listed in the "Dictionary Guide To United States Pottery & Porcelain (19th And 20th Century)" by Jenny B. Derwich and Dr. Mary Latos, along with "Lehner's Encyclopedia Of U.S. Marks On Pottery, Porcelain & Clay" by Lois Lehner. With both of us having full time jobs, after five years we could not keep up with all of the orders due to my husband's illness and early retirement in 1984, and no more pieces of FraMae Art Pottery (R) were made.

Then came an estate auction and I saw a beautiful brooch in one of the showcases. Needless to say, my husband bought the entire showcase of antique and vintage jewelry for me. That led to my own personal collection along with other jewelry purchases which put me in the jewelry business. During this time we spent three years totally remodeling a century home.

My husband had a collection of underground 1960's magazines, books, and papers. I had always liked to read and had shown an interest in some out-of-print books. One day at a flea market my husband purchased a pickup truck full of out-of-print books, which put me in the book business. I sold used & out-of-print books worldwide beginning in 1996; I also had my own web site from 1996-2002, starting with a computer when everything was done in DOS, long before Windows came along.

I was with TACE 2001-2002, then became very ill and eventually had to give up all of my businesses. After seven years I am back exclusively with TACE, ready to sell, and welcome all customers, both previous and new.

All of my items are used/vintage/antique so they will not be in "as new" condition; I do my best to describe any and all flaws I see. I describe as accurately as I would like an item described to me as a buyer.

I don't do any jewelry repair or alteration; all of my items are sold "as found". I have a pet free home but not a smoke free home, so if this presents a problem for you it probably would be best not to order.

I strive to have satisfied and repeat customers, and I try to treat all customers the same way I would like to be treated. I do my best to handle each transaction professionally.
