Victorian repousse locket with two genuine sapphires depicts a lovely young woman wearing an off-the-shoulder dress with flowing hair and flowers. The locket measures approximately 1-1/8" and has the original frames and plastic within. It is marked, "W & H CO" in a heart for the Wightman & Hough Company of Providence, Rhode Island. The company was in business between 1856 and 1922. This lovely locket has its original frames and plastic covers. It has a flourishing script initial engraving on the back. We have had this lovely locket replated in 14K gold for another lifetime of enjoyment.
