This is a beautiful rhinestone duet featuring pave set crystal rhinestone chatons and baguettes. Called a "duette" because it has two clips which attach to a pin base. It can be worn as a single brooch or as two clips. Duettes were popular from the 1920's - 40's and were produced by several different manufacturers including Coro and Trifari. Some were figural and colorfully enameled. This one is Art Deco in style and is signed Patent Pending. A few of the stones have darkened with age but this has plenty of sparkle ! Most of our items are vintage unless we tell you otherwise. Therefore expect them to be in "Vintage" condition. We do not thoroughly clean our vintage jewelry, leaving that to the preferences of the buyer, but if there are any serious problems, flaws or noticeable repairs, we will note it in the description.
