A beautiful vintage scent brooch featuring potmetal floral design with openwork and center sapphire blue glass flower. Lots of floral work and design in this all centering around the gorgeous center flower. This is also a pendant. A truly gorgeous design in an older brooch. The flower reminds me of some of the Lalique flowers and this may be an early reproduction of a more "spendy" piece. The flower part is actually a locket that opens up for inserting a scent (note the open back holes in the locket) Scents were applied to little pieces of blotting paper or small wafers were sold for this purpose.
