WEbMaxfield Parrish Atlas Print Framed under Glass

MAXFIELD PARRISH "ATLAS" FRAMED PRINT UNDER GLASS

The original Printing for this art was dated 1914 by Collier's.

Frame size is 11" x 13 1/2" with print being 9 1 /2" x 12"  

The Print is titled "ATLAS" holding Up The Sky by Maxfield Parrish. This beautiful Theme from Greek Mythology was originally painted for the Tanglewood Tales Book series.  Parrish later in life cut the canvas in two sections and saving the bottom portion painting a Tree of the Legs of Atlas.

This is the largest size of the original print issued although we are not sure of the period of this particular print.  We do know it is in a newer frame. We have therefore priced the print accordingly.

Print is in excellent condition.
